SAMAJEL B'ATZ'
YAMAN MUNIL
With
the awareness that many artisans are in need of marketing assistance,
we decided to institutionalize the experience that we had gained over
the years in this area. Thus we founded the Center for the Promotion
and Distribution of Mayan Products (CEFODIPMA), also known as Yaman
Munil ("work united" in the Mayan language Poptí).
We participate in Samajel B'atz' as a member and producer group. In
addition, we support and accompany other organizational efforts aimed
at putting forth and implementing actions designed to achieve dignity,
justice, equality and equity for our people.
